Met Gala 2019: Jewelry Trends You'll See On The Red Carpet

Each year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art hosts an annual Gala to raise funds for the museum. Over the past few years, this gala has turned into the fashion event of the year. The guest list is handpicked by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and boasts guests from Madonna to the Kardashian clan. This year's gala theme is called CAMP: Notes on Fashion. In the simplest form, CAMP is an expression of real ideas in a sort of non-realistic manner.

Take a look at the CAMP inspired jewelry trends you can hope to spot at this year's MET:

1. Medieval Glamour

Seeing as Game of Thrones has engraved its name into the heart of America, we can only hope to see lots of G.O.T fans play up this year's theme. One way to do so is by creating a sense of Medieval Glamour. Up above you can see Zendaya dominating last years Met Gala theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. Check out the most brilliant ways to add a touch of Medieval Glamour to a look:

2. The Big Bucks

When Kim Kardashian West pulled this look out of the archives, everyone was equally confused. As of now, the world we live in is undoubtedly run by currency. We believe that there are celebrities who will take this approach and either wear garments made of literal money or try to represent this idea through their outfits. We may even see a few coin jewelry pieces added as the cherry on top of their final look. Take a peek at this years theme in relation to money:

3. Flower Power

Rihanna sported this avant-garde look to the 2017 Met Gala. The theme was Comme Des Garcon, which is a brand that represents creativity. This year, we're hoping to see similar styles to what Rihanna pulled off two years ago. To match a look like this, the accessories need to be simple yet grand enough to balance out the outfit.
