Each Herkimer Diamond is slightly different, making your piece a one-of-a-kind. Herkimer diamonds are not actually diamonds but double-terminated quartz crystals discovered within exposed outcrops of dolomite in and around Herkimer County, New York, and the Mohawk River Valley.
