At Charles Albert, we design with three different kinds of metals. The first is our house line, known as Alchemia or "Zero Karat Gold", the second is our .950 Fine Sterling Silver and the third, our Alpaca which is a base metal blend of copper and tin.
Charles Albert's Alchemía blends a unique mix of base metals to create unmatched pieces that resemble 18K gold. This metal is free of nickel, lead, and cadmium. Alchemía is particularly fascinating because it offers the quality and aesthetics of gold without the high price. Unlike gold-plated jewelry, Alchemía's color is consistent throughout and won't tarnish or fade, thanks to a highly durable protective lacquer. This strong lacquer also makes all our Alchemía pieces hypoallergenic.
We don't call our Sterling Silver collections "Fine" for nothing. Charles Albert uses the highest grade of silver in all his pieces. Our collections feature .950 silver, containing 95% pure silver and 5% copper for added strength.
No matter the metal, the safest way to clean your jewelry is with warm soapy water, followed by drying with a soft cloth. Avoid using polishing cloths and chemical cleaners on Alchemia, but these can be used on Fine Sterling Silver.

Almost all Charles Albert rings are made with adjustable bands, allowing you to easily fit them to any finger. If you would like your ring sized before shipping, please specify the desired size in the order notes. You also can purchase your own ring sizer here.
Due to the unique characteristics of each stone, the color, shape, and surface of your jewelry piece will vary from the image shown. Each stone is naturally formed, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. This variation ensures that your piece is truly one-of-a-kind, offering a distinctive and personal touch to your jewelry collection. The differences in hue, form, and texture highlight the natural beauty and individuality of each stone, making your purchase a unique statement piece.
We are also available to take pictures so you can hand select which item you prefer.
Gemstones are rocks or minerals that are cut and polished for use in jewelry design and other decorative items. Gemstones are categorized as precious, semiprecious, lab-created or synthetic. There are over two hundred gemstones and we design unique jewelry with at least half that number.
Shipping & Returns
Continental U.S. Most orders are shipped the same day if received before 2PM EST. We ship via UPS, FedEx and USPS and offer all Express & Ground services. USPS Priority Mail service will be used unless specified otherwise. Please note that any order being shipped to a residential address will require a signature.
International orders & Non-Contiguous US territories (USVI, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico) will be shipped using USPS. However, you do have a choice to ship another method. Please specify how you want your order shipped.
Note: Customers in foreign countries are responsible for all possible VAT taxes and/or duties, which may be imposed by the carrier and/or the country of import.
Most orders are processed and shipped the same day. Depending on when you placed your order, we may have the ability to cancel it.
