Shipping & Returns

Continental U.S. Orders - Most orders are shipped the same day if received before 2 PM EST. Our shipping partners are UPS and USPS, who offer expedited shipping and ground services. UPS ground is the shipping method used, unless specified otherwise. When shipping to the west coast, UPS 3-day ground is the shipping method used unless specified otherwise. FedEx Shipping is also available but additional time is needed for carrier pick up. Using FedEx may add another day to shipping time frames.

 

International Orders - Foreign orders and orders shipping to Canada, USVI, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico will be shipped via USPS. If you would rather your order be shipped any other way, please specify this in the order notes.

 

Please Note: Customers in foreign countries are responsible for all possible VAT taxes and/or duties, which may be imposed by the carrier and/or the country of import.

All sale items are final sale. This includes items purchased with a coupon or a discount code.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email cs@charlesalbert.com for a return authorization number (RA#). If you do not obtain a RA#, your package will be refused.  In your return/exchange package, please include a copy of your receipt with a written reason for the return and/or exchange request. Full refunds will be administered if item(s) are returned without wear, in original condition and have tag(s) attached within 14 days of the date you received your package. Any return that does not meet the above criteria will be sent back to the customer. We accept merchandise up to 30 days for store credit or item exchange.

 

Please Note:Although we examine all merchandise for defects and damage prior to shipment, it is the buyers’ responsibility to review the product upon arrival to ensure that it is free of any flaw. Damaged goods due to buyers' negligence will not be accepted for return or exchange.

We do not accept changes, exchanges or cancellations for special orders once the order is placed. All special orders cannot be returned and are final sale. Please keep in mind that shipping costs are non-refundable.

Any jewelry bought from a Charles Albert Retailer should only be returned to this Retailer. Products & Care

At Charles Albert, we design with three different kinds of metals. The first is our house line, known as Alchemia Zero Karat Gold, the second is our .950 Fine Sterling Silver and the third, our Alpaca which is a base metal blend of copper and tin.

Regardless of the metal used, the safest way to clean all of your jewelry is to apply warm soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. Polishing cloths and/or chemical cleaners should never be used on Alchemia, but can be used on Fine Sterling Silver.

We are proud to say that all metals used to create Charles Albert jewelry are nickel, cadmium, and lead free.

Almost all Charles Albert rings are made with adjustable bands. This means that you can easily adjust your ring for whatever finger you decide to wear it on. If you would like your ring sized before it is shipped, please add in the order notes what size you would like us to adjust your ring to. You also can purchase your own ring sizer here.

Gemstones are known as rocks, minerals or minerals that are cut and polished to be used in jewelry design and/or other trinkets. Gemstones are categorized as precious, semiprecious, lab-created or synthetic. There are over two hundred gemstones and we are known for designing unique fashion jewelry with at least half that number.

Our jewelry is made of natural mediums and each stone/mineral/shell used has its own beautiful pattern. We do our best to match each item shipped with the photo online, but due to the one-of-a-kind nature of the medium, the color and shape pattern may vary slightly from the image shown.

Charles Albert's Alchemía manages to infuse a special blend of base metals to produce matchless pieces that look and feel like 18K Gold. The metal used is also free of nickel, lead, and cadmium. Special attributes of Alchemía make it most fascinating because it carries the quality and aesthetics of gold without the price tag. Because Alchemía is not plated gold, the color you see is inside and out and will not turn or tarnish due to an incredibly strong, protective lacquer. So strong in fact, all of our Alchemía pieces are hypoallergenic.

We don't use the word Fine in our Sterling Silver collections just for kicks. It really is Fine Sterling Silver. Charles Albert uses the highest grade of silver in all of his collections. All of our pieces are .950 silver, containing 95% pure silver and 5% copper for strength.

Policies & Other

At this time, we do not sell Gift Cards. If you are purchasing a gift for someone else and would like to send it directly to them, please add these details to your order notes along with their address and we will send the gift to them on your behalf.

We sell directly to retailers, meaning that you can carry Charles Albert in your own store. The process for this is fairly simple. Once your Retailer Application is approved, you will have full access to wholesale prices on our website and you will be assigned a personal Sales Representative.
