Charles Albert began producing unique, handmade Fine Sterling Silver in 1998. We are known for using a variety of over 100 raw, natural and organic stones handpicked from around the world to create unmatched, high-quality jewelry. We design with our house blend known as Alchemía Zero Karat Gold and our Fine Sterling Silver. If you’ve been following the brand for quite some time, you’ll know that quality is our top priority. Each Charles Albert piece is handcrafted by our Artisan partners in Taxco, MX. Taxco, if you didn’t already know, leads in metalsmithing and high-quality craftsmanship. Both our Fine Sterling Silver and Alchemia Zero Karat Gold are hallmarked for this.

At Charles Albert, we believe in creating something for everyone. If you’re a gemstone lover, you’ll definitely find something to love! We design with over 100 raw stones, shells, minerals & materials. This ranges from Abalone to Oysters and Moonstone to Obsidian. We’re also known for our Shark Teeth designs. We absolutely love being able to take inspiration from nature and create unique fashion jewelry that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. One other thing to take into account is that most of the materials we design with may vary slightly from our website photo because each stone/mineral is one-of-a-kind. 

Metals We Design With

Fine Sterling Silver

All of our Fine Sterling Silver jewelry begin as tiny silver pellets and are then melted and formed into long silver sheets, which are cut into strips to prepare for jewelry crafting. Charles Albert uses the highest grade of silver in all of his collections, which is why we’ve added the “Fine” before Sterling Silver. All of our pieces are .950 silver, containing 95% pure silver and 5% copper for strength.

Alchemía Zero Karat Gold

When the price of Silver started to rise, Charles Albert began his search for a cost-effective option to more expensive metals. Through many failed trials, he finally created a beautiful blend of metals now known as Alchemía. The gold color can be seen all the way through each piece of jewelry and is nickel-free and lead-free, thus making it hypoallergenic. It is also coated with a strong and flexible lacquer to protect the metal from turning or tarnishing.
